Christmas is almost upon us! Before we know it the Teguise tower bell will be chiming for the last time in 2017. The New Year firework display in Teguise is one of the best on the island, more about that later though. At Cantina Teguise we’re busy preparing for another busy holiday season. Here’s what to expect if you are visiting ‘La Villa’ during the festive month.

Welcoming December 2017..
On December 2nd more than 700 people gathered from all the towns surrounding Teguise. The local mayor, Oswaldo Betancort, presided over a presentation of the local festive program,“Teguise. Christmas and Kings 2017-2018”. Oswaldo also congratulated his government team, in addition to the municipal staff” for providing a wide and exquisite range of family activities in La Villa.
The end of year 2017, and beginning of 2018 calendar is loaded with fun and culture.. Here are a few of our favourite local events:
Thursday December 14th:
19.00 Inauguration of the Municipal Nativity Scene with the performance of Teguise’s Children’s Choir. Plaza Camilo José Cela.
20.00 Concert “Cantos de Navidad”. Municipal Music School and Teguise’s Children’s Choir. Convento de Santo Domingo.
Saturday December 16th:
20:00 Bohemia Concert – Musical Event.
Thursday December 21st:
21:00 Classical saxophone concert
Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th

Cantina Teguise Christmas..
We will be busier than ever throughout the entire holiday season, therefore we recommend guests to pre reserve a table via this email address: Info@cantinateguise.com Furthermore, it should be noted that we always give a break to our staff on Christmas Day! We will be closed for business all day on December 25th.
On December 24th we will be open as usual from 11am-11pm for Christmas Eve celebrations.
Cantina New Year..
We’ve already started to take reservations for our New Years Eve dinner evening. We’re open all day with the usual daytime menu from 11am. During the evening there are two sitting times. The first sitting will be at 19:00 and the second sitting at 21:00.
